Strings Available

  • Yonex BG 65

Ideal For: Beginners to intermediate players, or club players looking for cost-effective, long-lasting strings.

    Technical Information

    Type: Multifilament
    Gauge: 0.70 mm (thick)
Performance Profile: Durability and all-around performance

    Key Features

Excellent durability due to the thick gauge, making it a favorite for players who don’t want to restring frequently.
Moderate repulsion power, with a softer feel compared to thinner strings.
Good control but lacks sharp feedback, especially at higher tensions.
Loses tension over time, requiring occasional re-tensioning for consistent performance.

  • Yonex BG 65 Titanium

Ideal For: Intermediate to advanced players, or club players wanting a durable string with a sharper, more responsive feel than standard BG65.

    Technical Information

Type: Multifilament (with titanium hydride coating)
    Gauge: 0.70 mm (thick)
Performance Profile: Durability with enhanced repulsion and crisp feel

    Key Features

Excellent durability due to the thick gauge, making it well-suited for frequent players and hard hitters.
Improved repulsion power, giving better punch on smashes and clears.
Better tension retention than BG65, but still benefits from periodic restringing for peak performance.

  • Yonex BG 80

Ideal For: Intermediate to advanced players who prefer aggressive play with sharp smashes and solid control.

    Technical Information

Type: Multifilament with high-modulus Vectran fiber
    Gauge: 0.68 mm
Performance Profile: Control and repulsion balance

    Key Features

High repulsion power with a crisp, hard feel, great for offensive play.
Enhanced control due to the rough surface texture, allowing for better grip on the shuttle (great for spin shots).
Moderate durability, more robust than thinner strings like Aerosonic but less so than BG65.

  • Yonex BG 80 Power

Ideal For: Hard-hitting back-court players who want every bit of extra power for smashes without sacrificing too much control.

    Technical Information

Type: Multifilament with high-modulus Vectran fiber (similar to BG80 but tweaked for power)
    Gauge: 0.68 mm
Performance Profile: Power-focused with a hard feel

    Key Features

Designed for maximum smash power, with a slightly harder feel than BG80.
Slightly less control compared to BG80 due to the focus on repulsion.
Similar durability to BG80, but tension maintenance is slightly better under high-stress conditions.

  • Yonex ExBolt 65

Ideal For: Advanced doubles players who rely on quick drives, fast net play, and sharp smashes, with minimal compromise on durability.

    Technical Information

Type: Monofilament with Forged Fiber (advanced polymer technology)
    Gauge: 0.65 mm (thin)
Performance Profile: Speed, repulsion, and control

    Key Features

Extreme repulsion and quick shuttle response, excellent for fast rallies.
Surprisingly good durability for a thin string, thanks to the Forged Fiber technology.
Crisp hitting sound with enhanced control compared to other thin strings like Aerosonic.
Excellent tension retention, staying consistent longer than other BG strings.

  • Yonex AeroBite Boost

Ideal For: Intermediate to advanced players, especially those prioritising control, spin, and sharp attacking play with a firmer feel.

    Technical Information

    Type: Hybrid multifilament
Gauge: 0.72 mm (mains) / 0.61 mm (crosses)
Performance Profile: Control, spin, and repulsion with a hard feel

    Key Features

Hybrid construction combines thicker mains and thinner crosses, enhancing control while maintaining good repulsion.
Incorporates Vectran fibre in the mains, significantly increasing strength and responsiveness compared to standard nylon.
High control rating with solid repulsion, making it suitable for aggressive, technical play.
